Anduril Industries expanding operations in Stone County; AccelerateMS supporting training initiatives

STONE COUNTY, Miss. — Anduril Industries, a defense technology company is expanding its operations in Stone County. Anduril held a groundbreaking ceremony today in McHenry, representing a corporate investment of $75 million and will create 60 new jobs in the region expected to be filled by the end of the year.  

As part of the expansion, AccelerateMS provided funding for job training to enhance the workforce’s skills and readiness to meet the evolving demands of the job market.

The company, based out of Costa Mesa, California, recently acquired Adranos, Inc., and its solid rocket motor production site in Stone County, and said the renovations and new technology will help speed up production and reduce costs.

The Mississippi Development Authority and Stone County are assisting with the project, as well.
