Education and Training

Education is more than a degree—it’s a launchpad for a better future. Through strategic partnerships with training providers and industry leaders, AccelerateMS supports programs that prepare Mississippians for high-wage, high-skill careers. We align training with real workforce needs so learners gain credentials that translate into meaningful employment and upward mobility.

SWIB Approved Credential List

The SWIB Approved Credential List is a strategic inventory of industry-recognized credentials—including certifications, licenses, certificates, and degrees—that have been evaluated and endorsed for their value in the labor market. Curated in collaboration with employers, educators, and workforce development leaders, this list identifies credentials that align with Mississippi’s high-demand occupations and statewide economic goals.
