Mississippi’s workforce needs are rapidly growing—and we’re not producing enough skilled workers to meet the demand. By 2030, our state must prepare thousands more individuals for in-demand careers than we are training today. Based on projections endorsed by the State Workforce Investment Board, we need to expand training capacity to address significant gaps in the next five years across several priority industries:
