Gov. Reeves shifting state economic focus to workforce development, helping businesses

Reeves said he’s focused on creating more jobs and bringing more economic development and growth to the state. The state will rebrand the Mississippi Office of Workforce Development into Accelerate Mississippi and focus on improving its development policies to retain graduates and bring more people to Mississippi, he said.

“I think it’s going to be a real game changer for Mississippi,” he said.
