This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing engineering and production teams to ensure process stability, product consistency, and compliance with stringent quality standards.

The Battery Cell Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for helping Amplify Cell Technologies launch the new manufacturing plant in Byhalia, Mississippi.  They will support and be a key driver/steerer in the planning, development, testing, and commissioning of over 700 pieces of manufacturing equipment.  They will support the hiring and development of the manufacturing team.  Heavy focus will be placed on working with our partners domestic and international with a focus on proper design, build, testing, and commissioning of all equipment into the new facility in Mississippi. 

After implementation and commissioning of the equipment, they will then transition into managing the day-to-day operations of the equipment and continuous improvement of the same.  This manager will be responsible for various KPIs with a focus on schedule and cost in the near term and then safety, uptime, OEE, and other equipment-focused KPIs.  They will be expected to be a facilitator, collaborator, driver, and steerer across multiple project partners as well as our international partners whether they be equipment vendors or strategic partners.
